UBA Rewards Customers with N400m Anniversary Bonuses

Date:

United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) has rewarded customers with more than N400 million in anniversary bonuses under its UBA Bumper Account, to encourage savings and reward customer loyalty.

The bank disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday in Lagos.

It said the payout was one of the largest loyalty rewards under the UBA Bumper Account initiative since its introduction.

According to it, eligible customers received the bonuses directly into their accounts, reflecting its commitment to rewarding consistent savings.

Head of Retail Products, UBA, Mr Tomiwa Sotiloye, said the bank remained committed to ensuring customers benefited from their relationship with the institution.

“At UBA, we believe customer loyalty deserves meaningful recognition.

“Every bonus paid is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to customers who continue to trust us with their financial aspirations.

“Surpassing the N400 million milestone reflects our commitment to creating products that not only help customers save but also reward them in tangible ways,” he said.

Also, the bank’s Group Head, Brands, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Alero Ladipo, said the bank’s customer-centric approach continued to drive its product offerings.

She said the UBA Bumper Account was designed to reward responsible financial behaviour while delivering value to customers.

“Crediting over N400 million directly into customers’ accounts is not just a payout; it is evidence of our promise to make banking more rewarding and to continually appreciate the confidence our customers repose in us,” she said.

The initiative also supports the bank’s financial inclusion drive by promoting sustainable savings habits and enhancing customer experience.
