Zichis Agro Allied Industries Acquires Land in Ogun State for Expansion

Zichis Agro Allied Industries Plc, has acquired 2,000 acres land in Ogun State with a view to expanding its operations.

Zichis, the latest company to be quoted on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), in a filing at the NGX said the land is for its medium to long term growth plan strategy to lead in the oil palm plantation industry and processing along its value chain.

The company said the 2,000 Acres land acquisition was signed with the communities of Ajebo and Ogbere in Ogun State.

The company said it plans to inter-crop maize and cassava with palm seedlings in the short to medium term to contribute to food security in the country and harness backward integration synergy.
