Bukka Hut, a proudly Nigerian hospitality brand, has reaffirmed its commitment to giving back to the community by empowering business owners, following the successful execution of the Bukka Hut Yard Sale 6.0, held from December 3rd to 7th, 2025.
The Bukka Hut Yard Sale is an annual initiative launched in 2020 to support business owners by providing a platform to showcase creativity, connect with customers, and grow their brands during the festive season at zero cost. Over the years, the event has evolved into a trusted community for business owners across various sectors.
The Bukka Hut Yard Sale 6.0, themed “One Home, Many Stories,” delivered a successful experience across several Bukka Hut locations, including Yaba, Anthony, Ogudu, and Ikorodu outlets. Activities at the Lekki location, however, were impacted by unforeseen regulatory challenges.
In response, and in line with its promise of A Taste of Home and commitment to people empowerment, Bukka Hut compensated each affected business owner at the Lekki outlet with ₦50,000 and also guaranteed them participation slots at Bukka Hut Yard Sale 7.0.
“The Bukka Hut Yard Sale was created to empower budding entrepreneurs, as this is one of the ways we give back to the communities we operate in. This responsibility does not stop when challenges arise,” said Rasheed Jaiyeola, Founder and CEO of Bukka Hut.
“Our vision is to be a proudly Nigerian brand that transforms lives, while creating meaningful social and economic impact through people development, entrepreneurial enablement, and community engagement,” Mr Jaiyeola further emphasised.
As preparations begin for Yard Sale 7.0, Bukka Hut remains focused on creating accessible opportunities that support enterprise, strengthen local communities, and help small businesses thrive.
