Power to Power 2019: Victor Okoronkwo, 12 Experts to Address Nigeria’s Energy Challenges

The Managing Director of Aiteo, Mr. Victor Okoronkwo, one of the foremost oil and gas as well as power indigenous company will lead 12 other speakers in exraying the short comings of the Nigeria’s power industry.

According to reliable sources, the event which will have the minister of power Honourable Saleh Mamman, as the special guest of honour, the event which will be held in Port Harcourt from the 6th to 7th of December 2019, would among other things discuss the future of energy transformation and utilisation, its status, prospects, as well as challenges with a special interest on the Nigerian energy mix.

Power to Power Summit is Africa’s premier Sustainable Energy Platform for the education, dialogue and exchange of ideas on Energy efficiency, Innovation and Technology, Renewable Energy and other issues posing economic burden and hardship on Energy users.

The 2019 Power to Power Summit will bring together the collaboration and partnership of Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Port Harcourt Section and DorisDesmond Nigeria Limited to the Sustainable Energy Platform for education.

It will also showcase dialogue and exchange of ideas on Energy efficiency, Innovation and Technology, Renewable Energy and other issues posing economic burden and hardship on Energy users.

Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Port Harcourt Section is an International not-for-profit organization that provides a worldwide forum for Oil and Natural Gas Exploration and Production (E & P) professionals to network and exchange technical knowledge and best practices.

SPE possesses the largest pool of individual member organizations, engineers, scientists, serving managers of E & P Operators and other professionals worldwide in the upstream, mid-stream and downstream segments of the Oil and Gas industry.

DorisDesmond Nigeria Limited (DDN) is an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Company aimed at creating a platform where challenges from the Energy Sector can be adequately expressed and addressed while bridging the knowledge gap regarding the links between energy service providers, regulatory authorities and the energy users.

It is held that by the amalgamation of efforts between SPE Port Harcourt Section 103 and Dorisdesmond Nigeria Limited to co-organize the Power to Power Summit 2019 with the theme “The Future of Energy Transformation and Utilization: Status, Prospects and Challenges”.

This year’s summit therefore, shall herald a rare opportunity for symbiotic engagements between the Petroleum and Energy Industries to discuss the future of Energy Utilization with a focus on solutions and technologies that will aid the transition to renewable based clean energy systems with zero carbon emissions.
